Fantastic.

My experience with the Mayflower in Raleigh has been absolutely wonderful. The service has been great, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is terrific. I've actually eaten there recently, since the Gulf oil spill, and the experience was no different from the times I've been there before. I know that the oil spill has made some people grow wary about eating sea food, but I can assure you that the food there is still as amazing as always.

Awesome!

I'd heard good things about this place, so I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed. The staff was very kind, and my tea was never empty. The seafood is good broiled or fried, and the chicken is good too. I would definitely recomend.

Nasty and Rude

The staff was very rude. The entire place was very dirty. The restrooms smelled like a cow pasture. If you would really like to eat at a clean Mayflower you need to try the one in Wilson. You will not be disappointed. I don"t know what the management at the raleigh Mayflower is thinking.

So much food!

I've eaten in here and taken out from here. Eating in is the best option...plates are piled high and everything is very fresh--you can just taste it. The To Go counter is just a pain...it's slow and everybody over there is rude.

Worst Take-Out Service

First time visit to Mayflower, I had heard good things,so we all decided to order for lunch, and eat at work. We called ahead of time, went over the order with the woman taking orders, everything seemed right. All of the orders were wrong, we ordered rice pilaf for one of the orders, it was forgotton. They forgot to give everyone coleslaw, (8) orders, they also over charged for what was supposed to be lunch specials. When we called the manager, she was very unapologetic, even after hearing we spent almost 100 dollars on take out. We ended finding out the General Managers phone number, called him, and now we are waiting for his return phone call. They also gave a problem to 2 ppl who went to return their "dinners" saying that they couldn't give cash refunds. A little strong arm and they got their money back. I would not recommend this restaurant unless eating in, where you can get your food corrected.
