Normal, everything is just normal

just normal-not worth the price at all. normal service, normal food. we ordered scallop and shrimp, both the flavor and amount are just so so, nothing special.

This is a really good restaurant. We held our comnpany's Christmas Party there in 2009 and everyone raved about the food. My wife and I have been back several times and loved it.
Exceptional Service and Food

Let me start off by saying this is one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The price isn't inexpensive, so if you are cheap, stay away. But I will also say it was well worth the money. I would rather go here once a month then spend $50.00 once a week at an Applebee's. What we had: goat cheese stuffed ravioli-which was exceptional, caesar salad and apple, walnut salad-once again exceptional, main entrees were the grouper and the filet from the vintage menu. Both items were fantastic. Now on to dessert: key lime pie and tiramisu bread pudding. Both were wonderful. Everything was perfect. Only thing I will say is that if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful evening, be VERY specific as to the location where you want to sit. We were in the middle of a high traffic area, which could be distracting at times. If you can request a server, ask for Melanie. She was by far the BEST server I have ever had. Attentive, yet not obnoxious or annoying. And, she clearly knows the menu. My husband joked that she might be a ninja because she was right there as soon as our food arrived, when it was time for a refill on wine, water, etc. We will be back!

Have had 3 really good experiences here. I have only eaten in the bar/loungey area. Restaurant looks a little funky. Service has been better than I expected and the food has been great.
Amazing Staff & Decor

I wanted to share the great time I had at Margauxs a few Fridays back. Having been there primarily for work related events in the past, this was my first time there to basically relax and enjoy the entertainment. I had never taken the time previously to actually look around the restaurant, and was genuinely enthralled with all the detail and time spent on the restaurants interior. The band was great, and people were obviously having a very good time. Despite how crowded it was, the bar did a great job keeping the drinks flowing and the customers moving. The staff were extremely friendly and after starting up several conversations with both the waitstaff and other patrons it was obvious that the people working there were very familiar with their current clientele as well as were more than willing to invite new people like myself in on the fun. I not only had a great time, but made a few new friends I look forward going back out with in the future. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment in the futures when they have Friday night bands.
