We live off of Duraleigh and have made Edward's Mill one of our regular bars.It is a comfortable, chill place to go for watching games or just hanging out They have a a friendly staff. And there food is delicious! We usually stick to appetizers or sandwiches. You can't beat their spinach and artichoke dip and they have an updated menu with sliders which are to die for! Great sandwiches and waffle fries. And always a good drink special. Such a fun place to go, I really recommend it! Hope everyone has as good of a time as we have!

This place wreaks of cigarette smoke in the bar area there is no escaping it. You will smell like an ashtray when you leave - even if you just stay for 1 beer. The only thing good on the menu are the black bean nachos which are pretty good and for 1 person get the 1/2 size and you still wont finish them. Outdoors on the patio, there are plenty of no smoking signs that customers disregard and the staff does not enforce. Its too bad that this place is close to home and would go there more often but its really really bad food and atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and always drive further to get to a better spot.

.. against your statements. If you pay with plastic, be sure to check your receipt. Someone is tipping themselves above and beyond what was written, authorized and signed for.

I ate at Edwards Mill Bar & Grill during a business trip. It was the closest restaurant to our hotel (Ramada Inn at Blue Ridge) but we still had to take a 5 minute cab ride to get to it. The service is pleasant and they offer non smoking and smoking sections. The good was fine, considering I was starving, but nothing exciting and imaginative. It's standard bar food - sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, etc. - and was decent. Certainly not the worst restaurant I've been too, but not the best either. There are many other places to eat in Raleigh and my overall impression of this place was that it could have been set in any town in America. Nothing special about it stood out in my mind which is why I'm giving it an "okay" rating. More information can be foudn at this http://www.edwardsmill.com/raleigh.restaurants/

I called to make a Tuesday afternoon reservation for 9 adults and nine infants (not all needing highchairs since some are still in infant carriers) and although they advertise accomidating large groups, the manager simply denied me, saying he did not have room for all of us.
